Dr. Joanna Siekiera
Dr. Joanna Siekiera is an international lawyer and legal advisor, with a Doctor of Social Sciences degree in public policy sciences from Poland. During 2019 – 2023 she worked for the OCEANSTATES project as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bergen’s Faculty of Law. In 2022, Dr. Siekiera was a crew member of the One Ocean Expedition on board of the Statsraad Lehmkuhl sailing across the Pacific Ocean and teaching 90 international students on the topics related to the law of the sea, sustainable development and Pacific regionalization.
